I’ve been putting off writing this because every time I think about it I get emotional. However as you know, the government have announced extended measures to help combat the outbreak of Covid-19 – one of the biggest threats our country has faced in a generation or more and something we never could have planned for. I still can’t believe how much has changed in just a week. To support these measures CB Bridal is now closed to the public until further notice. Over the last few days we’ve heard the heartache from brides with weddings postponed and the anxiety of those with weddings still scheduled to go ahead.
We want to reassure all of you that whilst our boutique may not be open to customers we continue to talk to our recommended seamstresses to keep an eye on fitting dates. We are regularly talking with our designers, will continue to accept dress deliveries and we will do our best to ensure the best outcomes for all of you given the situation. If you have any accessories at the shop that you haven’t collected, we are happy to post these to you just email me to arrange.
I will still be working during the period that the boutique is closed to customers – we’re not going anywhere! However given the unusual working arrangements we’re moving most of our communication to e-mail. Should you want to contact me please e-mail info@cliffordburr.co.uk . Our phone voicemail will be checked regularly but you’re more likely to get a timely response via e-mail or social media during this time.
I feel broken hearted and disappointed that we’re having to temporarily close the boutique, and this is something I would never want to do and have shed more than a few tears over it during the last few days. CB Bridal and all of you mean the world to me; but the safety of our brides, their friends and family as well as our staff and wider community is foremost in our minds. As such, we fully support the governments steps and encourage you all to stay home.
Above all else stay safe and we’ll see you when we’ve made it through this together.
Lots of Love, Becky xx
