This weeks team talk is all about one of our wonderful supervisors Maggie; she has been a key part of the team since we first opened our doors back in 2006 and has helped many brides find their dream gowns for their big day. Maggie is a very busy woman (see below!) so we are so extremely lucky that we get to spend time with her and also get to have her working here too. Team CB would not be the same without her.
1) What is your favourite dress in the store?
“A new dress from Sottero and Midgley that has just arrived called Grady.”
2) What is the best wedding you have ever been too?
“Besides my own, my son Tom’s wedding in Devon. However my daughter Molly is getting married in 11 days time so watch this space!”
3) What is your favourite part of the job?
“The varied day – I love helping and advising the brides and being part of the important decision of choosing their dress.”
4) What do you enjoy doing when you are not at CB?
“Spending time with my family, seeing my friends, playing tennis, going to the gym, skiing, going to London to the theater, cooking, shopping, holidays – the list goes on!.”
5) What is your favourite drink?
“My favourite drink is a gin and tonic”
6) Who would your dream groom be?
“My lovely husband of course, we have been together a long time.”
